I remember thinking that the a few tossups on Day II had pretty difficult answerlines for HS—Veronese and Type II error come to mind—but then I also remembered that there was a Monteverdi tossup (probably also on the way upper edge of HS difficulty) in Round I.

I think that this idea of having a universal difficulty would only work if the answerlines were kept as easy as possible, otherwise there is a good chance that many matches would end 0-0 at lower levels. Unfortunately, the only tournament left in NC this year is the NCATA tournament (I think), but there are always plenty of tournaments on good questions, many in Raleigh. I definitely encourage you to check out viewtopic.php?f=50&t=13137 and next year's equivalent.
