We are registering for this. You can count us in for 2 teams. We can bring 5 buzzers if that will help expand the field.

Re: CMST II: Searching For Writers
I could probably write some if you need some non-bio science or history or maybe some math
EDIT: I can also add some social sciences, non- classical myth, certain literary periods, and other things depending on what you need. Also I'd like to edit the physics and chem if possible.

Re: Charter Challenge at Wilmington Charter Feb 5th
Wow I am really impressed that the field has swung back to where it started - most of the teams in grades 7 and 8. That's a good thing. I note that you are combining 5-6 and 7-8. The reason we split the grades in the past was that the 8th graders pretty much dominated. With 14 teams in 7th grade, m...

I don't care about the fact that something like Spirited Away is technically anime; if a good writer wants to write a question on a reasonably well-known movie, they should go ahead and do so. Weiner is saying, albeit with some delightfully typical Weinerian pep, that anime DOES come up in trash tournaments. I'm opposed to it on general principle because I find the stuff absolutely noxious. However, that by itself isn't necessarily a good reason to get rid of it. This is dumb. Of course anime is a legitimate thing to ask about and if you ask about it in the right ways it makes for a good tossup or bonus. So I started by asking whether or not there would be any anime at Penn Bowl, and as I don't intend to blow up that board with generally unrelated discussion, I started this.
