Along with the PACE NSC, I full intend on making my coach take us to NAQT nationals this year. I'm glad they made the tournament announcement early this year. I think it may be a good idea to host the tournament in the same city every year however I think there are quite a few convenient cities that...

In the Maryland/Virginia/DC region, the area will probobaly be five powerful teams in 2005-2006: Blair, Governor's School, Thomas Jefferson, Walter Johnson and Richard Montgomery. Unlike last year when there was that TJ monster of a team taking first at every tournament, this year promises to have m...

I was wondering, who do you think will be good within each region and on a national level in the 2005-2006 season?

The record of both Alabama teams at the PACE NSC(both of which we played) is probobaly a factor of the intensely strong field. I think that both of the Alabama teams in attendance will make a strong run in the playoffs in future years considering the young age of their players, especially if they do...

I want to thank the PACE staff for running an excellent tournament. I thought every moderator we had was excellent. Additionally, the questions were by far the best I've ever heard and well exceeded my expectations. Also, congratulations to Thomas Jefferson for winning. State College was a very wort...

NAQT's outreach effort is shown by their offer to provide questions for free to any program looking to run a tournament next year in a state that featured no NAQT tournaments this year. Additionally, they have not picked HSNCT sites in the East in the past few years. This is probobaly due to the pre...

predictions
Seeing as how my team wont be attending this national championship tournament, I thought I might offer some less biased predictions. Lucky top 13 in no particular order: Mission San Jose- I believe they are bringing back all of their A team. They should improve on their playoff performance from last...

No longer affiliated with Blake It's Ac team :D I've known there was something up with you considering I've had no contact with you for three weeks and you have been absent from a few events your team has attended. I was just wondering what is going on with you. If you don't feel comfortable answer...

Notable absences so far (at least to me) include .... a few of the good DC/MD area teams (ER, Blake, Gonzaga) From what I've heard, Eleanor Roosevelt is trying to attend ASCN (I have no idea how they came to that decision). Gonzaga is signed up for PACE. Blake seems to be having some team issues ri...

I feel that ALL tournaments need to have some sort of dress code, i.e. nothing sexually suggestive (which I have seen and know of coaches who encourage it) or overly disgusting. I have confidence that all the teams in the area attending Richard Montgomery's tournament have the ability to dress them...

Georgetown Day, Banneker, Gonzaga.....while they do not compete in many if any other events, they are still a strong component not to be taken lightly. First of all, no one takes any of those teams lightly by any stretch of the imagination. Second, those teams compete very actively in events beside...

All I see on these boards is that Solon is better than DCC. In fact, the only good posts I see about DCC come from Solon's own Noah Rahman. I have never seen either of these teams play eachother, but I think most of the comparison threads on this forum have come to the conclusion that DCC and Solon...
