Wow, Ezra's team beat those two old guys? I'm impressed. We beat Ezra's team late in the round robin, then in our last match the old guys beat the living hell out of us.

I'd like to step in and add my perspective as compared to my other team members' comments. I recall running across the blender question in practice, and thinking it inane. Today, while practicing for the NAC finals, we had a 5-point audio question that roughly corresponded to "name this endange...

It really is.

Last year, practicing NAQT questions:

"It was woven to commemorate--"
*buzz*
Me: The Bayeaux Tapestry.

That's basically what I said. No one on our team much cares for those questions any more.

At practice earlier this year, on either a Patrick's Press or QU question:

"A man leaves his house. He walks five miles south, five miles east--"
*buzz*

...not that a bad joke/riddle has any place being a quiz bowl question anyway, but it was still pretty cool.
