Don't let Jock Goo's ONE PPG performance at SCT and MINUS ONE PPG performance at ICT detract you from looking at McGill B's successes at Regionals and EFT.

Jay from Toronto is only eligible for NAQT, and being a NAQT specialist really helped them at ICT. Patrick's disappearance also hurt their performances at both tournaments. I suggest voters do not consider Patrick in their polls, since he did not play a single tournament with them this season.

I think one of the really frustrating aspects of the current format is that if you end up in a bracket with one of the best teams in the tournament (like Chicago in our case) ICT becomes single elimination for your team. Perhaps this format is optimal, but it can really punish teams for playing one...

I think it would make sense for Division 1's half lengths to be increased to 12 minutes to account for the greater question length. We missed 4 tossups. D1 readers are generally going to be faster. In Canada the biggest problem is lack of continuity in an institution once the most involved members graduate. We’ve lost a lot of clubs over the years and are on the verge of losing a few as well.

I like the idea music+opera/other audio division, but it seemed that in practice it didn't make much of a difference, since ballet and world vs. opera ended up being switched in the distro and there wasn't actually an increase in jazz.

Here is a big dump of buzzpoint data by team. I feel that this is OK for how buzzpoints should be distributed for a tournament like this, but ACF could definitely afford to cut an early line and add more pre-FTP fluff.
