As far as non-QB resources go, the point-and-click map quizzes on http://www.ilike2learn.com is about as good as it gets. Also, if you have your own TriviaBot, you can set it to only read you geography. That's a great way to learn early clues for a lot of geography stuff.

If you haven't already found it, iTunes U has a bunch of free lectures from esteemed universities available for download. The only one I've checked out so far is an Intro to Philosophy lecture from Oxford, but it seems like a pretty good service (and it's free!).

First, the distribution was very odd. I haven't gone through the packets and counted, but one thing that definitely stood out was that several rounds completely lacked visual arts questions. How did this happen? If this was an oversight, why wasn't this fixed for the later mirrors of the tournament...
