Re: NAQT 2010 CC Sectional Sites?

Mr. Young or Chris, have either of you heard of any of the Georgia teams like GPC attending a Sectional? I thought they would either come to ours or one of the Florida ones since there wasn't one in Georgia. I know GPC has Robert Slade for his last year and when I talked to them he said they planne...

Re: ACF Winter Southeast at UGA (1/16)

I don't know exactly the reasons why, but it took 11 hours to play 12 rounds, and we didn't even stay for the awards ceremony. We had a seven hour or so drive back, and decided we couldn't make it all the way because we didn't get out of Athens until close to 9/9:30. We ended up stopping in Newnan, ...

I think the CCCT site is in serious flux right now. Right now I'm thinking the Motel 6 just off I-75 in Ocala. Or maybe we'll see y'all in Orlando for our ninth hosted tournament this year! Sigh. Anyway, I always like playing lit questions, but I'll staff this, assuming I'm there. I wouldn't compla...

Re: Lit/Fine Art Singles @ Chipola February 26 (CCCT)

I'm not sure how many people from CCCT will want to play, but I imagine a good many, which poses me to ask if there will be any sort of a field cap for this or if you would end up doing some type of draft for a doubles event or something if there was over X number of people. As far as non-QB resources go, the point-and-click map quizzes on http://www.ilike2learn.com is about as good as it gets. Also, if you have your own TriviaBot, you can set it to only read you geography. That's a great way to learn early clues for a lot of geography stuff.
