I have been informed that this tournament has received Platinum Certification from PACE, meaning that the top 25% of the teams in this tournament will qualify for the National Scholastic Championship in College Park, Maryland, to be held June 8th and 9th.

My team just played Cave Spring and New Kent at the Cavalier Classic and defeated them both handily, although that may have been due to good game placement, as Cave Spring had just gotten off a crushing loss to Dorman, who'd crushed everyone at that tournament. As to Virginia Beach, if I recall correctly, multiple VHSL districts in that area limit tournament attendance to something like 1 or 2 non-VHSL events before VHSL is over.
