If you're a know it all, why not make some use of it? :P

In all seriousness, quiz bowl lets you explore academic areas you may not have looked into otherwise, even in your favorite subjects. Competing (be it in quiz bowl or basketball or rock paper scissors) is also something I enjoy tremendously.

What would be the proper procedure if one of the top two vote getters chooses NOT to go? Would it pass on to the next person on the All Star Team or would it go to a tryout process?

Overall, I'd like to thank Charter for running an awesome tournament. Everything went smoothly, bracketing was done quickly, the mods knew exactly what they were doing, and everyone was accommodating and efficient.
