Re: A pyramidal Canadian championship?
No, or certainly not without the prior consent of Reach. Why would Reach tolerate someone attending their tournament telling their customers to stop coming? Would you tolerate the reverse? This is the disagreeable antagonism I was referring to elsewhere. In my view, it would be much better to have ...

CLARIFICATION: As this may have brought confusion in another thread, in Ontario at least, people refer to Quizbowl as the 20/20 tossup bonus format that NAQT, HSAPQ, ACF, or independent housewrites provide. :chip: style trivia, whether run by Reach or not, is always refereed to "Reach style&quo...

There are no Canadian-created pyramidal questions, and there is no Canadian Quizbowl Championship, although hopefully both of these will change in the near future IHBB (International History Bee and Bowl) is likely to inaugurate a Canadian division next year. This would entail regionals in about 8-...

I've been playing since 2008 and I've enjoyed pyramidal quizbowl as the form of question competition. Yet being in a region (same as Ted) with a dominant local format, I've seen my fair share of complaints, which other people have well elaborated.
