Re: A pyramidal Canadian championship?

No, or certainly not without the prior consent of Reach. Why would Reach tolerate someone attending their tournament telling their customers to stop coming? Would you tolerate the reverse? This is the disagreeable antagonism I was referring to elsewhere. In my view, it would be much better to have ...

CLARIFICATION: As this may have brought confusion in another thread, in Ontario at least, people refer to Quizbowl as the 20/20 tossup bonus format that NAQT, HSAPQ, ACF, or independent housewrites provide. :chip: style trivia, whether run by Reach or not, is always refereed to "Reach style&quo...

I've been playing since 2008 and I've enjoyed pyramidal quizbowl as the form of question competition. Yet being in a region (same as Ted) with a dominant local format, I've seen my fair share of complaints, which other people have well elaborated. We also had an in-place pool of schools who had atte...

Mondrian seemed like art canon when I played medium-easy high school sets.

The three Australia answer lines in three rounds didn't matter because the teams who knew the answer got the answer, but upset some teams in the lack of variety.
