A team or two from Bellarmine might be able to attend this. Very uncertain, though.

Re: On-going season rankings
Quad States (HSAPQ 15) – 1. Seven Lakes A (#8), 1. Cistercian A (#24), 3. St. Mark’s A (#32), 4. Seven Lakes B, 5. Cistercian B (#48) I’m not certain if Seven Lakes A was missing any players or not. Unless I'm misremembering, I believe that Seven Lakes A is missing Jonathan Xu, who put up ~55 ppg a...

With Aaron gone, who exactly is LASA B returning? I was under the impression that some fraction of them were seniors last year. Yet more evidence for Cistercian's potential this year: It was co-champion (with Seven Lakes) of the TQBA Quad States Challenged, played on HSAPQ questions in Plano on Octo...

Re: On-going season rankings
Anyone who uses the stats from today's tournament at Berkeley on IS-96 should be aware that Bellarmine was missing Tanay from its A team, and MSJ, due to the PSAT, was missing essentially all of its juniors and sophomores for (I think) rounds 1 through 5 (thus, their A team consisted of Jeffrey, ano...

Sorry for my ignorance, but what is the FKT? I just did a global search and looked in the announcements section and couldn't find any tournament or set with a corresponding acronym.

On a more serious note, I was looking at :chip: 's website (the things I do in my spare time) and noticed that St. Mark's is hosting a QU tourney, which to me normally indicates the team in question primarily plays on :chip: . Not sure if you know this already, but there's usually a bot reading questions on slashnet in #scobowl, although you'd be practicing against pretty much whoever was on at the time (so it's not region-specific). #scrimmage (with human readers, but more subject to the vagaries of schedule) exists as w...

William from Alpharetta is the top returning individual scorer, Nikhil second and Kevin from Stevenson third. If they only have the budget to make it down to one California tournament, I think their best bet would be this year's WCI, which they could probably fly down to.

Online sounds like a very feasible option. However, with so many people in just one room, it seems inevitable that one may not get to display a full range of their knowledge. This is perhaps unavoidable, but I propose a solution similar to MSJ's tryouts last year. Have several rooms consisting of a...

Yeah, Nikhil's split needs to be corrected. I don't know that any changes will be made regarding the All Star game lines; since the players were on All Star teams rather than actual teams, I don't think those will (or should) be folded in with their stats from the rest of the tourney. Would high schoolers be able to play this set, and if so, what kind of restrictions would be implemented (such as no participation in a previous ACF event, which would bar highly experienced teams such as SC/LASA)?
