There are apparently no more vans (or cars) to be had from the university, we weren't able to find anyone willing to lend us a car, and can't afford to rent one, so unfortunately Michigan's team and a half will have to drop out. Sorry - we've never been unable to get a university car before...

I thought this set did a pretty good job of providing specific but memorable clues for leadins on some of the lit tossups. (Specifically, I'm remembering the tossups on The Handmaid's Tale and The House on Mango Street here - I haven't read either of those books since high school, but the first clue...

So you know - I kept getting errors when trying to update multiple text fields at once (ended up having to enter things one by one and hitting update each time).

Also, not a serious issue - but why does year in school start with kindergarten? Are we going to see Div VIII or something in the future?

Are you set on staff for this tournament? Our Div I team has 5 people, so we could work out something with a rotating moderator (similar to what we did at ICT last year) - should we plan on this? (We're all experienced readers, etc.)

Some logistical stuff: we're planning on registration starting at 8:30 AM, with rounds to start at 9 AM.

We'll be holding this in Mason Hall, as always (419 S. State Street). Registration will probably be in Room 3437. The best bet for Saturday parking is the structure on Maynard.
