The rule is "whatever's on the paper is right, even if it's wrong". So if even if you have everything to prove the answer is wrong, the protest won't go through. The question quality is also not very good, but it has improved somewhat over the years.

On a different note, who do you all think is the best player ever from the state of Alabama? I've heard talk of Shiva from Grissom and Slade from Russellville, but only played Slade once and that was back in 8th grade. Besides them, I haven't heard much talk of anyone absolutely great at this game.

I think CCA said they weren't going to be able to go to NAQT nationals. Something about scheduling with something else (I think it was basketball). So I guess it looks like Brindlee is the only team going to NAQT nats.

Most states, at their statewide tournament, choose the all-state team to compete, that is, the team with the people who had the most points. Although Alabama chose the team that won state. Go figure.
