Dorman High School (SC) Tournaments for 2012-2013

Post by thomasgnd »

The Dorman High School Academic Team, Roebuck, SC, is pleased to announce its slate of tournaments for the 2012-2013 season:

Dorman Middle-School Invitational, NAQT Set MS-04, Saturday, September 29, 2012;
SCOP Novice Mirror, Saturday, November 10, 2012;
Twenty-Third Annual Dorman Cavalier Academic Challenge, House-write, Saturday, January 19, 2013;
Sixth Annual Dorman Season-Ender Tournament, NAQT Set IS-125A, Saturday, April 13, 2013.

All events will include bounceback bonuses and will not track powers or negs.

Registration for all events is $60 per team.

We hope to attract as many as 36 teams to each of the non-Cavalier-Challenge tournaments. The Cavalier Challenge has traditionally attracted more than 100 teams from throughout the South, though we are very interested in drawing teams from other parts of the country as well.

Mailed invitations will be sent for each tournament. The Cavalier Challenge will be preceded two mailed invitations. If you have not received one in the past and would like one this year, please let us know.

For the time being, all events are scheduled to be held at the Dorman main campus, 1050 Cavalier Way, Roebuck, SC 29376. Any changes to the location, which are unlikely, will be posted ASAP.

Anyone who would like to express interest in and/or go through with registration via email AND/OR has any questions should contact Geoffrey Thomas, Head Coach, at [email protected] OR [email protected].

Thanks very much. We look forward to seeing you in the Palmetto State this year!
