Qblitz Novice 1 (Sunday, November 17)

Post by Dominator »

Qblitz is kicking off its second season of competition with a FREE novice event, to be held on Sunday, November 17!

How Does It Work?: All players will log in to their computers on November 17 and play a double-round (40 tossups) of novice-level questions. Gameplay will be in the Qblitz system, which works just like in our samples. Once everyone's had a chance to play, we'll compare the results, build the matches, and crown a champion.

Who Is Eligible?: This event is meant for players new to high school quizbowl. If you've played a year or less of high school quizbowl, you can play! Here, "a year" doesn't mean strictly 365 days ago. If you started playing in the 2018-2019 season, you're still eligible, even if it's technically been 14, say, months.

If you are not eligible for this novice event, we'll have other tournaments for you later in the year. But please tell the newer players on your team about Qblitz Novice 1!

How Can I Register?: Log in to your Qblitz account, visit the Events page, choose Qblitz Novice 1 at the top of the page, and hit Checkout. Since this event is free, checking out is merely a formality.

What If I Have Questions?: Please post them here, or email them to [email protected].

We hope to see you on the 17th!
