Scripps Ranch is excited to announce SRIRACHA! (Scripps Ranch’s Incredibly Rad Academic Competition: How Amazing!), which will be hosted online on Sunday, March 7, 2021. The tournament will have a single division played on DART, a regular high school difficulty set.

ELIGIBILITY
The tournament is open to high school teams from Southern California. Teams may have up to six players; four will play at a time.

LOGISTICS
The tournament will be held over Discord on March 7, with an info meeting at 8:45 am and matches starting at 9:00 am.
Players will be required to have their cameras on.
Payment info and additional logistics will be sent to registered teams prior to the tournament.

PRICING

$60 per team
$10 discount per provided staffer, until a minimum fee of $40 per team
$40 flat price for short-handed teams (teams with only 1 or 2 players)
New schools (schools that did not play a quizbowl tournament during the 2019-2020 season) qualify for a flat $30/team fee

REGISTRATION
~~There’s a preliminary field cap of 16 teams.~~The field cap is now 20 teams. Schools may register three teams each; additional teams will be put on a waitlist and may be let in on March 1 if space allows. The deadline for registration is March 5.

To register, email [email protected] with 1) number of teams, 2) a contact email and phone number, 3) expected discounts, 4) final expected cost. Give your email the subject "SRIRACHA! registration for [your school]."
