The (first ever!) West Coast Championship Tournament for High School Teams is taking place on Saturday, March 27 on Discord. This competition uses STASH for Competitive and NAQT IS-201 for Standard. There is no Novice Division; Novice teams are discouraged from playing this event. We are not placing a field cap on either division for the time being. Middle School teams cannot compete at this event (sorry).
We are restricting entrance in the Competitive Division to those teams that have either qualified for HSNCT/NSC or are applying for a wild card position to those competitions. Teams that are denied a wildcard bid will be asked to play in Standard (we'll be in touch with such teams). Please let us know if you are unsure which division is best for you so that we can assist you.
The entry fee is $75 per team with a $30 discount per staffer provided. We are accepting payment via Venmo, PayPal, or Check; please contact us for details.
Registration (for both divisions) takes place on the NAQT website here => https://www.naqt.com/registration/field ... t_id=12256

Re: 2021 West Coast Championship Tournament
Thanks to everyone who played and staffed the first West Coast Championship! We hope all teams had an enjoyable time.
Congratulations to the teams that won the tournament:
Arcadia won the Competitive division, defeating California's Westview A 380 - 200 in a one-game final.
St. Francis won the Standard division without a final by clearing the field in the top playoff bracket.
Full statistics are available at the hsquizbowl entry.
