Village Academy Tournament 3/21

Post by soroco120 » Mon Feb 16, 2009 10:30 am

Village Academy High School in Powell, Ohio would like to run a tournament March 14th or maybe another date if its better for other people, to run an NAQT tournament in preperation for the state tournament. Send an email to me Neil Samadder at soroco120@NOSPAMgmail.com, without the NOSPAM ofcourse, if you can come or if another date is better for you.

Hey, didn't you just register for Weekend of Quizbowl yesterday? How are you going to run a tournament on March 14?

I will be willing to help out at your tournament, if necessary. Also, it says on the NAQT website the the tournament is going to be on 3/7.

Alright that would be great, we'll definitely be needing readers, and since neither my coach nor I have ever run a tournament, anybody with experience who is willing to help would be greatly appreciated.

I hope that you are not planning to run this as a timed tournament, because if you are, I'd probably not get to an acceptable number of questions in time. So, is this tournament happening on 3/7 like the NAQT website says, or on 3/21?

Per the advisor of this team, this event will not be happening.

Here is further information that the coach of Village Academy asked me to post:
Village Academy Schools would like to extend their regret for the actions of an overly zealous student who was not in a position to act on behalf of the school nor the 'In The Know' Team in trying to schedule a tournament event. Please forgive his behavior in this matter and accept our apologies for any inconvenience experienced on your behalf.
