I'd love to play a mirror of this at SSNCT/another NAQT national like last year, and would toss in a few bucks to make sure it happens.

I regret not being able to play on this hilarious distribution again (or beat Dylan to a tossup on Northwestern again).

I second the SSNCT suggestion. I know a lot of SSNCT participants won’t be going to HSNCT, so it would be great to have some side events there, especially since it will likely a lot of people’s first trash experiences.

I played this last year and would like to play it again. I'll be at SSNCT and HSNCT this year, the HSNCT side event schedule seems somewhat crowded, so I too would be interested in a possible SSNCT mirror.

Will this stop being available after June?

This could be available after June, if a mirror is still interested. We will be putting together AUX Cord III at some point in the fall. Fort Osage will not be going to SSNCT but I can definitely make it available for that. We will be going to HSNCT but it sounds like we might not have much of a chance to play it.

Any movement on the SSNCT front?

Let's do this. Here's a team formation spreadsheet.

I'm looking for teammates I haven't played with before (preferably even people I don't know). I like sports and old music. I won the last iteration of this tournament through the great strategy of "team up with Mike Cheyne".

Yes, if this tournament is anything like the last one, you're going to want to have:

-somebody who knows old TV
-somebody who has good buzzing speed
-somebody who knows country music

When is this planned for SSNCT? If Saturday night I can staff.

Thanks, that would be very much appreciated! Saturday night seems to make sense for this to run, after everyone has a chance to get food.

None of these describe me, but I'm still very much interested and looking for teammates.

For the SSNCT mirror, who precisely will be in charge of obtaining the packets and collecting and remitting the mirror fees the OP seems to imply will be required? Also, since there's already three teams made, with enough free agents to make one more, it would probably be a good thing if someone in addition to myself offered to staff to allow two rooms.

Apropos of nothing, but I finally understood the name of this tournament after more than a year.

Here is our Snap-Raise site. https://www.snap-raise.com/fundraisers/ ... -bowl-2018#. If you can, please pay here towards our Fundraising efforts.
If that is not workable, I do have a PayPal account. It is $5 per person.

My e-mail is: [email protected]

Please give me a contact e-mail so I can send the packets tomorrow. I will send them PDF unless you would like it in a different form.

Thanks, Josh

We currently have three teams of four signed, with six free agents and two readers. With only four packets, 4 teams and 8 teams are optimal field sizes, so if there is not an influx of players and readers in the next 26 hours we will have to have some teams of five to accommodate everyone who wants to play. On that note, if you're planning on playing this tournament, or would like to help staff, add your name to the spreadsheet! We can do 8 teams quite easily, so don't worry about being locked out of the field.

I will be in charge of collecting payments and sending the mirror fee to Fort Osage. Either cash today/tomorrow or Venmo (@Ryan-Rosenberg) is fine; I will donate the total mirror fee to Fort Osage's SnapRaise after the tournament.

I am sick and won't be able to make it to this. Rob Carson has graciously offered to take over organizing in my absence.

Hello all:

Please be in Charles De Gaulle at 7:30. The field will be capped at eight teams, which I am happy to wantonly add people to as necessary. I will have a schedule ready then.

A team of me, Isaac Hirsch, Dan Puma, Rahul Rao-Pothuraju, and Alex Sankaran went undefeated, including a victory in the last round after negging seven of the first ten tossups and being down by 230 points at the half. It was fun.

Yeah, I believe I've collected all the payments now so money should be on its way to you shortly.
