ACRO-Demia Online Tournament - 11/15/20

Post by InvadErGII »

As we wrap up ACRO-Demia, I'd like to schedule an online tournament to function as its "main" mirror for the weekend of November 14th. Cost will be $12 per player.

Ideally I'd like to do teams of 4 for this, but would be open to changing to doubles if it's better for logistics or whatever. What I'd like to know from all of you is when you'd like this to be held. I should be free pretty much any time that weekend, so tell me what's good for you in this poll! UPDATE: Looks like Sunday afternoon is comfortably the most popular option here, so we'll plan on that.

Here's a signup sheet for teams, staff, and free agents.

Assuming this doesn't land on the times that I cannot play, I'd be pretty interested in this.

If this happens on the Sunday, I'll be happy to flail about on a team.

The afternoon of 11/15 appears to be the popular choice, so let's plan on that. I'm excited for this one to finally come to fruition!

Is there a field cap here? Late to the party but I just listed the 9th team on the signup sheet, I assume you're still open for more?

Any idea of a rough start time on 11/15?

I'm putting in a field cap of 12 for now, but hope to go to ~16 assuming I can shore up a few more moderators. If you're free to staff this, please let me know ASAP!

EDIT: As for time, I'm thinking 1pm central as the start time of the first round (if this is generally untenable for some reason I don't realize, please say so).

Will free agents have to assemble their own team or will the TD make teams consisting of free agents?

I can make teams if necessary, but would definitely recommend that teams do this themselves if possible, as that'll probably be better for balancing purposes.

After wrangling up some more staffers, I'm comfortable upping the field of this to 18. Get your teams registered ASAP (and free agents, start teaming up)!

Quick registration update - it turns out that running 8 rounds with 18 teams doesn't really work, so we're not gonna do that (sorry). As a result, the field will now be limited to 16 teams. As of right now, this means there is exactly one spot left - if you're a free agent and want to be sure to get in, please move your name to that spot ASAP. In the event that there are folks who miss out this time around, I'll plan on running another mirror in December or thereabouts (there will be a HS/collegiate novice mirror as well, so feel free to hold off for that if that sounds better for you).

Schedule will go out tomorrow morning.

Who wants some STATS (it's you - you want them)

Congrats to List of Neighbours characters (2017) From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (Redirected from Rob Carson) (Mike Cheyne, Rob Carson, Chris Ray, John Lawrence) on their impressive victory.

This was a blast - if you missed out on this one, I'll try to run another mirror in the near future.
