PACE NSC 2020 Qualification Guidelines

Post by Mike Bentley »

Hi everyone, the guidelines for qualifying for the 2020 PACE NSC have been posted to our website: http://www.pace-nsc.org/2020-nsc-qualif ... uidelines/

They're mostly the same as last year, with the main difference being that the minimum number of games for a regular qualifier has increased from 5 to 6. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Tournament directors should expect to see the first wave of emails within the next week or so.

Registration for teams that qualify will open on November 1st.

The form asks about usage of A-sets or novice packets. Are you able to specify what impact usage of these sets will have on potential certification if all other conditions are met or exceeded?

Sorry if this wasn't spelled out clearly in the guidelines. A-Sets and Novice sets are eligible for gold qualifiers but not platinum qualifiers.

That was what I suspected, but wasn't entirely certain about. Thank you for the response.

Quick update: Due to an oversight on my part, I forgot to update the number of rounds needed for a tournament to qualify as a gold qualifier. This has increased from 7 to 8 rounds.
