Hello all,
I am a rising high school senior, captain of my team, and literature player. I have been playing Quiz Bowl for several years now, and have never discovered a method of study as effective for me as index cards. They are unsurpassed in the possibility to encompass large amounts of material very concisely, and they give my family a reprieve from endless requests to "just read five more tossups?" However, I am now drowning in a flood of the things. I possess over 2000 index cards, and have no way to store/organize/study them effectively. Right now I rubber-band them by subject and stack them in a desk drawer. Any creative ideas on how to manage these unwieldy study aids? If you have any suggestions as to a better method of study, I would certainly consider those as well.
Thank you for your help!

Woah. Had never heard of this, but I downloaded it, and it's utterly awesome.

I use Pauker (http://pauker.sourceforge.net/), but my brother uses Anki (http://ichi2.net/anki/).
