EDIT: Deveau also did it last year. And Siva a while back. The QBWiki page was quite outdated, it seems.
Has anyone four-timed it since Weiss, the only mention on the QBWiki page? David York from Litchfield is only a sophomore, but he has the potential to make All-State all four years for Class A.
I cannot remember, or find for that matter, whether Evan Daigle from Litchfield did. I know for sure he got first team sophmore, junior, and senior year, however I cannot remember which team he got freshmen year.

Evan made First Team All-State in Class A in 2008, 2009, and 2010, but not in 2007 or 2011 (I don't know which of those would have been his fourth eligible year).

If anybody is planning on attending the IHSSBCA Banquet this Saturday and hasn't let me know yet, they should let me know now.

As long as posting Slate articles is the fad around here, might as well study up on your IHSA canon.

What? No mention of kefir in the Slate article? I'm disappointed.

So just looking at quick results from HSNCT, Illinois made a really great showing. Some highlights:

Auburn: getting 5th place overall and Lloyd being 5th overall scorer in prelims
Loyola: getting 8th place with a great combined scoring that we've seen all year
IMSA A: getting 13th place with a great combined scoring effort from everyone
IMSA B: getting 21st place with Anton being 28th overall scorer
Carbondale: getting 33rd place after a close loss to IMSA B and Ben being 8th overall scorer
Stevenson A: Proving Malis wrong by qualifying for the playoffs. Great effort from the team and great bonus conversion
Stevenson B: One of the few B teams that qualified for the playoffs, they did an excellent job all tournament
Belvidere North A: Unfortunate playoff game but did an excellent job making the playoffs led by Dylan getting 2nd overall in scoring in the Prelims to Adam Silverman.
Springfield: An excellent job making the playoffs, they had very balanced scoring and did well throughout the day with many games being within 1 TU/Bonus cycle
Macomb: Macomb got second in Small School Division and Tristan got 9th overall scorer after going 5-5 in the Prelims
Westmont: At their first HSNCT they not only made the small school playoffs but averaged over 10 PPB. Well Done!
Champaign- Centennial: Played very well including a narrow 15 point loss to Dorman to go 5-5. Chris was the 66th overall scorer.
Fenton: Went 5-5 at their first HSNCT and Blake got 46th overall scorer

To conclude, every Illinois team had a record of .500 or greater or made the SS Playoffs with exclusion being a very young team with promise in Belvidere North B (who I had for a couple of matches on Saturday).

Here is what I have through three rounds at NSC:
Stevenson A 2-0
Stevenson B 2-1
Auburn A 3-0
Auburn B 1-2
Carbondale A 3-0
Carbondale B 0-3
Cumberland 0-2
IMSA A 2-0
IMSA B 2-1
Latin 0-2
Loyola A 3-0
Loyola B 0-3
New Trier 2-0

That's a combined 20-14.

Through Round 4, 5 out of 14 undefeated teams were from Illinois.
