Autumnal N. GA Scholastic Tournament (ANGST) {DATE CHANGED!}

The North Georgia College & State University Academic Team is proud to announce the first ever Autumnal North Georgia Scholastic Tournament (ANGST), to be held Saturday, November 12, 2011, on the North Georgia campus in beautiful Dahlonega, Georgia, located north of Atlanta. This tournament will be using NAQT Packets (106A).

The format will be either a regular RR or a random prelim/matched playoff system wherein all teams will play 5 prelims among random teams and then be re-bracketed into matched divisions for 5 more rounds of playoffs. Rounds will consist of 20 Toss Ups with 30-point bounce-back bonuses.

The entry fee will be $65 for each team with no limit on teams from a particular school. Checks can be made out to the NGCSU Academic Team and can be delivered the day of the tournament.

There will be a $5 discount for each school that provides a worker, limit two such discounts per school. There will also be a $5 discount for each school that provides a buzzer system, limit to one such discount per team registered.

SQBS will be utilized for score-keeping.

Hopefully more teams will sign up for this since the Alpharetta FNT mirror will likely be rescheduled.
