Each school may bring as many teams as you like. Please let me know ASAP how many you will be bringing. Please see the fee schedule below for details on entry costs:

Base price - $75/team

Discounts: $5.00 per WORKING buzzers set per team

To enter, please email me at [email protected]
More details will be forthcoming to those who register.

Thanks. I hope to see you in December!

See updated team list above. Also, I may have to cap this tournament soon due to a lack of volunteers to moderate....

Please be advised that this tournament will be using NAQT IS-110A. There were some teams registered who have already competed on this set. I have contacted them. Please make sure that you have not heard this set.

Thanks,

I'm probably really late on noticing this, but the absence of teams named DAR and Hoover is interesting.

Damn I hate to hear that. If you can find some medical redshirt rule and wanna pull a Case Keenum-esque scenario for an extra year of high school eligiblity hit me up

I definitely feel sorry for you but, at the same time, I am a little glad to see that I am not the only one with this problem. Until very recently, I always had 15-20 students on my team and students who wanted to go to tournaments every weekend. This year we haven't attended any tournaments at all because so far I haven't had more than 1 or 2 students willing and able to go.

Who just ran a full tournament with every team playing seven rounds plus a lunch break and was finished at 2:15?

This guy!

Seriously, though, here are the quick results. I will send the full results to NAQT for posting on their website:

1st - JP2 Catholic A (7-0)
2nd - Gadsden City A (5-2 - beat Glasgow head-to-head)
3rd - Glasgow (5-2 beat CCA head-to-head)
4th - Covenant Christian (5-2)

We did seven rounds of power matching, which got a little rough at times, but worked itself out after seven rounds. Other teams that had winning records were:

Columbia A (4-3)
Brindlee Mountain (4-3)
Randolph A (4-3)
Gadsden C (4-3)
Gadsden E (4-3)

Looking forward to next time.

Glad it went well, I was hoping we could make it to this tournament but we've already played the set. Hopefully we can make it next time.
