On the other hand, Escobar's C team dominating one tournament and then losing to Arcadia in a different one may have contributed to this. While I personally believe Arcadia is a top 25 team, I don't see them as a top 3.
I find these new rankings to be hilarious.

It's pretty encouraging that both rankings put High Tech A, B, and C in around the same place! 40/42/90 vs. 50/60/121, same thing but scaled a bit larger. That's surprisingly similar, actually.

Maybe it'd be cool if someone looked to see the major differences between this ranking and the other.

New Pre-HSNCT Rankings are now available in the dropbox at:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/j8vyl95g1cpch ... %2021.xlsx

At this update, a total of 30,499 games have been played between 3,147 teams. What is special about this ranking set is how I've pruned some of the data. On sheet 3 ("Nationals Teams Games"), you'll find the results of games where both teams will be attending HSNCT (not including the waitlist). This encompasses 2,785 games between a total of 239 teams, meaning 17 of the HSNCT teams have not played a game against another team attending nationals that I have results for.

Tomorrow, I'll be doing some more analysis with this data that I've collected, mainly looking at how connected the graph of teams is, and seeing how many independent regions will be attending HSNCT. I'll also compute each team's W-L record against other national teams and maybe some other stuff depending on how much time I have.
