SCOP Novice Mirror (11/3/12 at Alpharetta, Georgia)

Alpharetta High School is proud to announce its SCOP Novice Mirror on November 3, 2012. Our school is located at 3595 Webb Bridge Road, Alpharetta, GA 30005. Ranjani Sundaresan and I will serve as co-directors and Nirav Ilango will handle stats for the tournament.
Players in the 10th grade and below or players who are new to quiz bowl may compete in this tournament. Middle school teams are welcome and encouraged to attend. The cap will be at 48 teams, and we will periodically update the tournament field on this post.

For the first team, the cost is $60, second team is $55 and $50 for any additional teams. We are in need of both buzzer systems and workers, so we are offering multiple discounts (-$5 for a working buzzer system and -$5 for experienced staffers). The minimum price per team, however, is $45.
The set is aimed towards younger players and consists of 10 rounds with 20 tossups and bonuses per round.
