Should Tournament Announcements be broken down by region?

Hello--
Bob Pirrie here from New England. We are trying to beef up our region, so it would be great if our tourney announcements stayed a bit further up the list for a longer period. As it stands, an announcement can be pushed off the bottom of the screen in a matter of hours. Yes, people should scan everything, and there are those who say that it is important to be able to see everything in case teams want to travel to far away areas for a change or a challenge, but I think it would help our area for the tourney announcements to be split into regions. Don't know how hard this would be to do (Forum bigwigs chime in), but anybody wanna throw in 2 cents?

Until the mods make a decision on this, the best thing to do might be to bump your announcement every other day or so by updating the field of teams.

Most of the regional discussion forums have schedule threads -- maybe you could ask whoever runs the NE one to link to announcements in it?
