BHSAT XXII at Tulane in New Orleans, LA on 4/13

Hello, everyone! Tulane Quiz Bowl will be hosting a mirror of Yale’s 22nd annual Bulldog High School Academic Tournament (BHSAT XXII) on April 13, 2013. Registration will begin at 8:15AM with a brief meeting at 9:00AM. Game play will begin at 9:15AM and run until at lunch at approximately 12:30PM. Lunch will last an hour, and there are several establishments on and around campus for participants to purchase food. Play will resume around 1:30PM with finals in the afternoon. A short ceremony will be held at the end of the tournament, around 5:30PM, to announce winners.
Questions:
The set for BHSAT 2013 will be written by select members of the Yale University quizbowl team. The target difficulty is "the same as BHSAT 2011," which can be reviewed at quizbowlpackets.com.
Teams will be able to play at least 10 rounds in the morning and afternoon.
Fees:
The base fee for each school will be $45. Each additional team from a school is $35. We will also provide a $10 discount for each working buzzer system (minimum eight working buzzers), with a maximum of two buzzer system discounts per school. You may pay with cash or check on the day of the tournament. Checks should be made payable to “Tulane Quiz Bowl.”

Tulane University in New Orleans, LA. More information on what building the tournament will be in and a campus map will be provided to participating schools at a later date.
To register, please e-mail me at [email protected] with the number of teams and buzzer systems you will be bringing. We are capping the field at 20 teams; priority will be given to the teams registering the earliest. The deadline to register is Friday, April 5.
