No I didn't get a 35 on the ACT and I didn't even apply to Stanford, but you guys believed me lol. By the way, what does it take to get into that place?

Well, I did get a 35, but I had some Aces up my sleeve. I was first in my class, already had 4 5's on AP tests and took Calc 3 and Diff. Eq. as a senior. But then again I know people with similar numbers, so there's probably an element of luck involved.

I've emailed USC's team a couple of times and got no response. So I'm wondering if anyone knows if they've been to any tournaments in the past year or two. I heard they hosted a NAQT sectional, but I haven't seen anything about them actually playing in tournaments. Anyone know anything?

I'm going to CNU (Chris Newport), where there is currently no team. However, I am working to remedy that. I've been talking to NAQT's executives, Shawn Pickrell (Mr. VHSL Quizbowl), and Roanoke College, as CNU would only be ready to take on other small schools right away.

The Facebook is the greatest internet invention ever. Period. Anyone on here interested in the University of Mississippi, it looks like a quiz bowl team will be set up this year.
