Summer Practices at the University of Michigan

Hi all,
I'm glad to announce that the University of Michigan's Quiz Bowl team will be hosting regular practices this summer. They will be held on Wednesdays from 7 to 9 PM starting Wednesday, May 15. The practices will be very relaxed and we'll read a variety of questions. If you are in the area, feel free to stop by! You can also contact us at

Would you guys be interested in turning one practice perhaps into a summer mirror of CAHOOTS? (possibly with online involvement?)

I think this could be feasible. I will only be around for May, so if it's later in the summer you'll have to contact Saul or Kurtis. Officially reserving rooms may be very difficult, but if it is only a few people we could possibly do this in our shared office (which can hold ~15 people) or at someone's apartment.

So if we want to hold a CAHOOTS mirror - assuming that's feasible - what day should we hold it? The first weekend in June has no high school nationals, so that's a possibility. (I don't know if the original proposal was to expand one of the normal Wednesday meetings, but that's fine too.)

I can't do that weekend but my schedule is kind of nuts anyway, so do what thou will.

I would totally drive up with some other quizbowl peeps to play a CAHOOTS mirror if it isn't the June 1st weekend.

Hey all,
Just a reminder that we will be having practice this Wednesday in the Union. The turnout for our first practice was great, and I'm hoping we can repeat it for the rest of the summer.
In addition, I am hosting a little get together at 5. So if you want free Mediterranean food, shoot me an email.
