NAQT Upstate NY State Championship: 4/19, Buffalo

Post by Tale of Mac Datho's Pachycephalosaur »

The University at Buffalo is pleased to announce the NAQT Upstate NY State Championship Tournament!

Date: 4/19/2014 (Saturday)
Location: University at Buffalo, North Campus (Amherst, NY)
Building: TBD
Set: IS-136
Tournament Directors: Sarah Beimel, Zach Pace

Base Fee: $35 per team, no maximum number of teams
Buzzer Discount: -$5/working set (8 discrete player stations, subject to TD approval)
Distance Discount: -$5/150 miles, one way
Staff Discount: -$5 (moderator or scorekeeper, subject to TD approval)
New Team Discount: -$5 (for teams who have not played a tournament at UB after August 2011)
Minimum Fee: $15

A registration form will be released in a couple weeks. In the meantime, interest can be directed to zpace21 AT gmail DOT com.

Each school can be provided a copy of the tournament questions, on request. We plan to have hard copies on-site for those teams that request them. Those schools which do not request questions ahead of time may be asked to pay for postage ($5-10), since we can't scan and email questions.

See below for field update.
