Millburn High School is pleased to announce that it will be holding the first Millburn Invitational on Saturday, March 30, 2019. The tournament will use NAQT's IS-182A.
Millburn High School is located at 462 Millburn Ave, in Millburn, New Jersey. We are very close to NYC, so don’t be afraid to come out to New Jersey to compete.
The fee structure is as follows:
$80 for the first team from each school
$70 for each extra team for a school
-$5 for each fully functional buzzer system that can support at least eight players
-$10 for each experienced moderator
If you plan on paying by check, it must be made out to Millburn High School. We will also accept cash.
Teams may register for this tournament by filling out the following Google form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIp ... A/viewform
We will be setting an field cap of (edit: 20) teams, which will be expanded pending interest/availability of buzzers and moderators. For now, each school will be allowed to sign up two teams. Any school that signs up more than two teams will have their third team put on the waitlist until we get a clearer sense of the field.
This tournament will be using NAQT rules (with computational math questions discarded) and ACF timing (5 seconds for everything).
For lunch, we will not be offering anything, but there are many options in downtown Millburn within walking distance.
If you have have any questions, feel free to email [email protected], [email protected], or [email protected]. We hope to see you in March!
