We are happy to announce Regulated Educational Deluxe: Spring-Time Academic Regional Tournament (REDSTART) at Montgomery Blair High School! It will take place on Saturday, March 14, 2020. The tournament will be using the BLAST housewrite, a regular-plus difficulty question set; more info can be found here: viewtopic.php?f=109&t=22818

Location
The tournament will be held at Montgomery Blair High School, 51 University Blvd E, Silver Spring, MD 20901.

Logistics
Registration will begin at 8:00 AM in the 210s hallway, which can be found towards the auditorium and main office, on the second level of the building. We will hold a moderator meeting at 8:40 AM, and a team meeting at 8:45 AM. Rounds will begin at 9:00 AM.

Tournament Fees
The fee structure is as follows:
Base fee: $75
Each additional team: $70
Buzzer discount- having at least 8 working buzzers: -$5
Reader discount: -$10
Minimum fee per team: $50

We will be charging a $10 cancellation fee for every team cancelled after 11:59 PM on Tuesday, March 17th.

Checks should be made out to “Montgomery Blair High School” with “It’s Academic” as the memo line. Payment must be received before or on the day of the tournament.
