BOAT (Upper Midwest RAFT II Mirror) - January 9, 2021

I’m happy to announce BOAT, which will take place on Saturday, January 9, 2021. The tournament will be held on RAFT II, a high school regular difficulty set. More details about the set can be found at viewtopic.php?f=109&t=24146.
Eligibility
The tournament will be open to all teams in the upper Midwest, which will include Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. Exceptions will be granted on a case-by-case basis. If you are not from this region but would like to participate, please let us know. Each team must have no more than 6 listed players, of which no more than 4 may be in play at any given time.
Format
The tournament will be held completely online via Discord and will start at 9 am CST. Each team will play at least 8 rounds, and each round will have tossups and bonuses. All players must need a separate Discord account to participate in the tournament. The tournament will be run using NAQT rules, with modifications made for untimed rounds and a short increase in the time given to teams to respond to a question.
Registration
The registration fee for the tournament will be $70 per team. Payment methods will be finalized closer to the tournament date. Teams should register for the tournament using this form: https://forms.gle/Md2VDnNCqxqxCtxx6. The tentative field cap is 16 teams, which may be expanded depending on available staff.
