Interest for a possible high school tournament at Brown?

Post by grapesmoker » Fri Jun 02, 2006 5:10 pm

According to R. Hentzel, Rhode Island is one of the states that gets free NAQT questions, if I understood him right. I have been thinking of running an NAQT event at Brown sometime in the fall, probably around late October. Would those who might be interested in such an event post in this thread or email me at jerry_v at brown dot edu, along with any specific date preferences you might have? I figure a field of at least 10 teams is necessary to run a good tournament, so if we get that much interest, we'll announce a more specific date.

Gonzaga would be as long as there are no local tournaments that day.

As with Harvard ... provided that we are free that weekend, Seton Hall Prep (NJ) would be interested in attending.

Again, if I can get proper funding and such, I'll come from NYC.

Stuyvesant would certainly be interested. Any details finalized, or am I jumping the gun here? ;)
