Post by Sen. Estes Kefauver (D-TN) »

I was wondering because I went to Maryville and I don't know who I met there that is on the board. I'm Charles Dees from North Kansas City.

I am a long time reader, and first time poster, and I suppose this is a good time to start. I was at Ace's Maryville camp this year. My name is Dallas Simons, from MLKing in TN.

I remember you. You did really well in the first day of practice in our room. Nice to meet you.

I originally meant to post on this about 3 months ago, but I did not remember to until now. I am Mark from Brindlee Mountain, and I went to the 2006 Maryville Camp. I also got the 2nd highest score on the 70 question test.

I liked the worksheets, but I still don't find them applicable to Scholar Bowl in terms of seeding. I guess it didn't really affect me, but there were other people who deserved to be higher/lower in terms of their actual ability.

And hey Mark. I think I can act for Brandon and say hi from him too.

To add on to my worksheets thoughts. I realize there probably is no other way to truly determine the proper seeding at first, so worksheets are obviously the most reasonable. It just isn't something I would go around using to compare with other players.

John Ahlfield, Liberty MO

I went to SEMO the past two years...and I even recognize a few of the people that posted in this topic! *gasp*

At least...I think I do...

I think I was in the same practice room as Siva for 1 or 2 days, and I remember playing frisbee with another John from Illinois (is that the John that posted above?).

Anyway, too bad I don't get to go to another ACE camp, but I'm certainly glad I went when I had the chance!

Yeah, frisbee was really really fun. I need to get one of those ones with the bluelights. Not like it will make me any better at Ultimate, though.

Are you one of the people that played at night at SEMO? If so, do you remember the person that ran into that stupid thornbush (and conveniently enough, was on the skins team)? That really hurt, I remember pulling thorns out all the way up the elevator :(
