RESULTS: Robinson Invitational II (2/10/07) (Concord, NC)

Post by DrakeRQB »

This is extremely preliminary, but Robinson will host its second Robinson Invitational (RI) on Saturday, February 10 at the school. Matches will be a basic 20 tossup/bonus format - no preliminary seeding round this year. Registration will be $65 for the first team and $45 for additional teams. If you supply more than one team, we ask that you make yourself or someone else available as a moderator. Discounts will be given for buzzers, moderators, and participants in the Speedway Shootout get a discount as well.

More details will come - in the meantime, check out our website at http://www.robinsonquizbowl.com for the latest.

Field Update?

Chattahoochee is still very interested in attending the Robinson Invitational. Is there a field update coming soon?

Letters are going to be mailed out at the end of this week - once I start getting some contacts from more interested schools I'll post another field update. Union Pines (eastern NC) has expressed interest in addition to the schools already mentioned above - Dorman has in the past mentioned that they may come. I'm going to more aggressively target SC and GA this time.

We will accept teams until February 5 - the list above should represent the field as of this point.

Count in Saint Mary's for one team and one buzzer.
