General question: what's the game format?

Standard NAQT (although this tournament isn't affiliated): 20 tossups w/ 20 bonuses with pyramid style tossups.

Right now I have five preliminary rounds with three playoff rounds. One more team would mean sixteen for a playoff bracket...

How did the tournament go? It's good to see some New York competition reviving.

The turnout of fourteen teams this year was encouraging. The final standings were:

1st: Kingston
2nd: Lowville
3rd: Lake George
4th: Cooperstown A

Kingston and Lowville were impressive teams. The championship round was determined by a tie-breaker.

Unfortunately, neither Dolgeville team placed, but were dealing with some illnesses.

We're thinking of hosting an official NAQT event in the spring... perhaps the weekend of April 26th? If I can drum up enough moderators. If not, Geek Wars III will be next Veterans Day weekend.

Does anyone happen to have more detailed results (such as all the scores) of this tournament? I'd be interested in them for ratings and rankings purposes.
