Crusader Cup (10/13/2007) at N. Greenville Univ. (SC)

On Saturday, October 13, 2007, North Greenville University (in Tigerville, SC) will host its third annual Crusader Cup, an academic competition for 7-12th grade students in the Upstate of South Carolina.

The tournament will be capped at 36 teams (24 varsity teams and 12 junior varsity teams). Once we reach our cap, we will place any additional teams on a “Waitâ€

With a month left to go until the tournament, we still have room for 12 varsity and 6 jv teams.

Only three days left to register for the 2007 Crusader Cup. We are closing registration on Oct 6th.

After some additions, subtractions, and swapping between divisions, we are now at 22 varsity and 6 juntior varisty teams.

Nice to see another event in my home state. If you schedule one that doesn't conflict with a GA tourney, Greenville isn't too far for Atlanta area teams.

It also quells my confusion at seeing Aiken missing from the Walton field.

Norcross really wouldn't like playing in the foothills of SC. You much prefer the impossible questions in the afternoon rounds at Walton. This tournament is much too nice for you guys -- well run, competent readers, fair questions and generally a lack of intensity that one sees around Atlanta. I am glad that we discovered the Crusader Cup.
