Is it just me, or were there a ton of upsets? I can only see what the stats show, but they tell a very interesting story, to say the least.

yea, there were many upsets. Santa Monica lost again to Rancho B (the only team that has beat them from this region). Other surprises included Torrey Pines beating Rancho A, Edison beating Torrey, and Torrey losing to Tustin in the round robin. My team, Arcadia, had a pretty poor tournament, and lost a couple games we typically dont lose. This I partly attribute to the considerably weaker teams we fielded. My out negging every team singlehandedly didn't help either
despite the loss, Santa Monica appears to be well ahead of the rest of us; however, I dont think this team is quite as strong as the Santa Monica teams of the past 2 years. Then again, the same thing could've been said about their team last year ( and the finished something like T-8th at hsnct).
