SEE?? I KNEW that other people called it "Academic Bowl" besides me.]The school's Web site lists Schallenberger as a member of the 2007 academic bowl squad. He won an academic award from Newberry College in the last school year.

This is about the first I had ever heard of Chesterfield HS having a team...and I lived in South Carolina for a number of years. Sad all around.Tegan wrote:http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080421/ap_ ... ttack_plot

I have had my teams at tournaments all over SC and I do not recall ever seeing Chesterfield at a tournament. Could be I just overlooked them.

Information on Chesterfield Academic Bowl can be found here...

It appears the team's season consists solely of a tournament within the school district.

Re: uh-oh!
Chesterfield lost the season championship due to a six-point difference in the second tie-breaker. Maybe there's some sort of lesson here.
