Power matching genrator

Post by BGSO »

I didn't really know where to put this so mods please feel free to move:

Basically, post AP test my physics class has decided to have a Deflection (http://www.khet.com/) tournament and I have convinced my class that power matching is the best way to play said tournament. I know that somewhere someone made a power matching schedule, and I would love to be able to use that in order to run this tournament. If someone could link me to that that would be much appreciated.

For those of you who are interested the plan is play out the 4 rounds of power matching, and then take the top 2 people and the next 2 people and put them in a advantaged final for the placings.

Yes, classroom board games quizbowl style.

How about instead of deleting this, you post a link to what you were looking for, for the edification of others?

It doesn't seem like this plan will work. If you've got 16 people, you'll wind up with one 4-0 player and four 3-1 players.

I suppose the 3-1 players could play a quick round-robin.

We ended up not playing off the 3-1's all in all I'd call it a success. Especially after looking at the single elimination bracket one kid was adamant on playing which had the 4-0 and all of the 3-1's on one side of the bracket.
