Good to hear. Do you know how many teams and buzzers you would be bringing?

We are planning on bringing 1 or 2 teams and no buzzer systems.

The field has been updated to reflect other signups; other interested teams should feel free to e-mail me with questions.

Just a timing update: Because of the small field (unless other teams want to sign up, which I would be absolutely fine with!), it is not necessary that teams arrive until 8:30 a.m. I am confident that we will still be able to begin by 9.

Not to be too much of a wet blanket, but unfortunately Simsbury isn't too interested in making the 2 hour drive if the field is only 4 teams and many people on our team are unable to come due to unrelated reasons. Our apologies.

Thanks to everyone who came! We played a triple round-robin with four teams, and Concord-Carlisle came out on top. Results can be found at http://results.scobo.net/brandeisquizbowl/fallnovice

1. Kai from MIT and Dennis Loo from the Harvard townie brigade were a major help.
2. This set was extraordinarily readable. Thank you to its editors and copy editors.
