Michigan State University’s Academic Competitions Club is proud to announce its annual March Madness Invitational scheduled for March 27, 2010. This tournament will be using NAQT invitational set IS-94. As of now the field size has not been determined, but we will likely be running a divisional round robin followed by a re-bracketed round robin. Expect approximately 10 games, though this obviously depends on the field.

Tournament Fees:
First Team: $65
All subsequent teams $50
Working Buzzer set: -$10 per functional set
Distance Discount: -$10 per 100 miles (1-way), by Google maps or Mapquest, whichever is further
Minimum per team: $25

Please make checks payable to MSU Academic Competition Club and please pay upon arrival, or in advance. Please email us at cbowl AT msu DOT edu to register (even if you post on the forum, a registration email is requested).

Thanks,

Mark Bogner

From what I heard, DCC A was first, DCC B was second, Northmont was third, and Novi A was fourth.

Hey guys, sorry about this. Mark ran this tournament in my absence, but he didn't have access to the web space. Stats are done, and we'll get it up ASAP.

Lol, can someone please check DCC A's match against Brighton B. I am pretty sure they did not get 10 points on 16 bonuses heard...That would also change their bonus conversion percentage too.

I'll look into it tonight at practice. I know for a fact Brighton B does not have the ability to psyche a team out like that.
