The Ohio State University Academic Team has been awarded the right to host the 2010 Ohio NAQT State Championship, and we will do so on Saturday, April 17 2010. This tournament is intended to be the premier event on the Ohio quizbowl calendar. Every team will have the opportunity to win the eternal glory that comes with a state championship. The runners-up and winners will take home the shiniest of trophies and the individual high scorers will be awarded prizes (awesome paperbacks).

After prelims and rebracketing, Northmont and South Range A are about to play a play-in game to face Olmstead Hills A in the finals.

More like Olmsted Falls. And for those interested, Northmont made it to the final and won two straight games to take the state title.Atlee Hammaker wrote:Olmstead Hills A

I intend to write up a timeshifted humorous "liveblog" I kept and post it in AHAN Jr. as soon as I've got time, so probably tomorrow.

Little by little, I work my way through the Ohio quizbowl lexicon. (I learned how to pronounce Copley today!) But yeah, this was a good tournament with a lot of great teams. I hope Northmont enjoys their trophy.swwFCqb wrote:More like Olmsted Falls.
