McMaster will be hosting a mirror of the Moon Pie tournament on Sunday August 7th 2011, following the Moon Pie Mirror on Saturday.

Details
The tournament will likely be located in the Michael G. DeGroote Center for Learning and Discovery (MDCL), pending the results of our room bookings. This is the same building where we've hosted most of our tournaments in the past year.

MDCL is south of the student center, and is the modern building attached to the hospital by 2 bridges.

The Student Center is #51 on this map, and MDCL is #52.

As per usual, arrive at around 9:00 am so we can get play started by 9:30 am.

Fees

The base fee will be $100 dollars a team.

Discounts
-$5 per working buzzer set
-$5 per moderator/staffer
-$10 if team has traveled over 200 miles on Google Maps.

If your team is planning to play both Moon Pie and COLT, we can work out a good discount for each tournament's fees so that it is financially feasible to play both.

Centennial CVI will almost certainly have a team in this tournament as we attended the last Trash tournament at Mac and enjoyed it greatly! I myself will probably not be playing in it (team mascot?) but if you need some help staffing, I'd be happy to lend a hand!

We at Centennial CVI in guelph are definitely in for COLT, and potentially Moon Pie. If we sent a team to both but there was some inconsistencies in the team members would we still get the discount?

I will probably be able to wrangle up some fellow Guelph-ites for this. Should be at least 1 team, will keep you posted.

Just a heads up, we are happy to provide a 150 combined base fee for any teams/schools who are planning to play both COLT and Moon Pie on the 6th and 7th, and you are free to shuffle your rosters around and still qualify for the discount.

Here is a Facebook event for the two tournaments: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=208526649198926

Congrats to Ottawa A (Brendan, Aaron K., Dmitri, and Radu) for winning the tournament, and for Kirby from Mac for coming in first for scoring (with Brendan from Ottawa coming in a close second).

Hope you all had fun.
