What are the eligibility restrictions for this tournament (i.e., grad students, open teams, etc.)?

We will allow open teams of graduated people as long as we judge they are not "super" teams. We prefer people who go to school play with their school. Grad students can of course also play.

Not that this matters for me, personally, but will you handle this decision for all mirrors or will TDs from other mirrors make judgments about "super" teams for their own mirror?

I'm not going to allow open teams other than high schoolers who are trying to avoid MSHSAA regulations at my site.

I think I will allow allow TDs to make their own judgments on this issue.

University of Louisville is interested in sending 3-4 teams to this tournament. We can bring two buzzer systems.

I'll probably be there, either playing with Minnesota or as a free agent.

Update to the Minnesota situation: We'll have two teams, but only one of them is official and the other one will be an open team of Rob, Bernadette, someone else from Minnesota, and potentially a free agent.

Laferbrook is coming to this, right now as a team of two. Middling to poor players are welcome to join us in order to keep our team sufficiently non-super.

I'd be happy to join a free agent team.

Would anyone be interested in basketball or ultimate frisbee the Friday before or the evening after this (weather permitting)? There is a basketball court and a large field near Kurtis, Libo, and my house.

I would wholeheartedly be interested in basketball, but it would depend on the time and day that we arrive in Ann Arbor.

Pretty sure Kurtis has a frisbee, but if people want to play basketball they need to bring a ball. Otherwise someone is driving me to the store to get one.

OSU may be able to contribute a couple of guys (but no basketball) if it happens the evening after.

I feel like half of our team is going to end up at the Jorma Kaukonen concert on Friday night. http://theark.org/2950.html

I'd probably be down for that evening since I have no interest in Jefferson Airplane.

Sadly at this point it seems like it's going to be just me at that concert, unless Shan is actually planning on going.

Everyone who hasn't already confirmed the number of teams, buzzers, moderators with us should do so by Wednesday, either by posting here or by emailing me at zengl (at) umich (dot) edu

I'm going to assume that MSU is bringing the buzzer that I found last week, and that we used on Saturday (the "old" one).

Any teams that haven't told exactly how many teams/buzzers/moderators they will be bringing to the tournament should tell me posthaste.

Several Ohio State people want to play basketball after the tournament. Is that going to happen at all?

There is a court by our house, and it is supposed to be very nice tomorrow. We don't have a ball though. If someone with a car wants to drive me to a store, then we can play.
