VCU Open Online Mirror - Canceled

We're going to be hosting a mirror of VCU Open on Saturday, 8/31.

Fee will be $25 per person. If you provide a moderator, we'll drop that to $15 per person. Initial field cap will be 8 teams. I'm likely going to weight it towards teams of at least 2 players rather than solo players. I'll post more details later.

The players on a team all need to be in the same physical location to play. No exceptions.

I'll post more details about the specifics, but note that these tournaments start later (for east coast teams) than normal and take a little longer to run.

We won't be running any side events.

I think I could moderate for this. Sunday is move-in day, so that wouldn't be doable for me.

Anyway, let's set the date at 8/31/13. Please let me know if you can attend.

On the database the most recently uploaded set is called "VCU Closed" but is actually VCU Open. Has anyone else noticed? Sorry if I should have posted elsewhere but this thread seemed apropos since it is the only mirror of the set yet to be played. While we're on the subject, when is VCU Closed going to be posted?

I uploaded VCU Closed a little while ago, I don't know what the delay in it showing up is. I also don't know who chose to upload VCU Open (to the wrong tournament/at all) but people playing the delayed online mirror should not look at it.

I've removed the VCU Open upload from that duplicate entry. I have no idea why that was approved; I didn't do it (I very rarely approve uploads at all). Thanks for catching that, Austin.

I haven't seen any notification of VCU Closed packets being uploaded to the correct entry through the database.
