George Oppen at Illinois (2/28/15)
On Saturday, February 28, 2015, the University of Illinois is hosting a mirror of George Oppen, an open tournament produced entirely by Auroni Gupta and Stephen Eltinge that aims to be Nats minus difficulty. Details can be found here.
LOCATION:
The tournament will take place in Lincoln Hall at the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana.
ELIGIBILITY:
This tournament is an open, but you can get a discount for playing as a collegiate team.
COST:
$120 is the base fee for the tournament. Discounts can be found below
$50 discount for playing as a collegiate/non-open team
$5 discount for working buzzer systems
$15 for a competent moderator (please inform me who this is ahead of time)
$10 travel discount per 200 miles (one way). This can be negotiated if you have some odd mix of players from varying distances.
PAYMENT:
Please pay in either cash, or a check written out to either Andrew Wang, or Academic Buzzer Team.
REGISTRATION:

I see that I have forgotten to mention this but after GO given sufficient time and interest we will run a mirror of UMD's impossible speedchecks for $5 a person with proceeds going to PACE
