VCU Novice @ Carleton College (10/03/2015)

Carleton College is happy to announce that we will be hosting a mirror of VCU Novice on Oct. 3rd, 2015 in Northfield, MN. More information about the set and eligibility rules may be found here: http://www.hsquizbowl.org/forums/viewto ... =8&t=17650.
We plan to have registration begin at 9:00AM in Olin Hall Rm. 149, with play beginning at 9:30AM. The field is tentatively capped at 9 teams, and may be expanded in the future.

Entry fees/discounts:
$15 per player ($60 for 4-player team)
-$10 for teams new to quizbowl (did not play any collegiate tournament in the 2014-2015 season)
-$10 per working buzzer set per team
-$10 per staffer per team
-$10 for travelling more than 100 miles (one-way) per team.

Minnesota won a 4-team tournament, finishing 6-0 and beating Carleton A, B and St. Olaf (not in that order). Fun was had! We did a double round robin and then went to lunch (Minnesota just went home).
